SEATTLE, Jan. 11, 2012 -- Voters reject effort to undermine law that protects families from secondhand smoke
Families can be easily protected from "second hand smoke" by not frequenting establishments where smoking is allowed. Workers can be protected from "second hand smoke" by not working in establishments where smoking is allowed. This is pretty simple stuff, and does not step on the rights of business owners to allow a legal activity in their establishment.
But the fascist nannies on the west coast prefer to "protect families" and "protect workers" by stepping on the rights of a minority.
